From Desperation to Discovery

NOUS is the mission I never saw coming.

The History

In a surgery that saved her life, my partner had a non-malignant tumor removed from her spinal cord at age twelve. Recovery went better than expected, she improved, and her condition remained stable for nearly 20 years. But in her 30s, things began to decline. Then, during COVID, a severe concussion accelerated her condition into a downward spiral that left us searching for answers. We tried everything - from traditional medicines to specialists, manual therapies, Eastern techniques, supplements, energy work... you name it. The medical consensus was a shrug. No one could explain why, after years of stability, her nervous system started failing.

The Turning Point

Desperation drives research. One evening, she stumbled on a webinar by the Functional Neuro Health Institute in Australia on the subject of "Primitive Reflexes". As we watched, everything clicked. She didn't just have a concussion or symptoms; she had deep, neurological survival patterns that were never resolved!

Right then, in a moment of "nothing to lose", we combined the information from the webinar with my existing skills to reverse-engineer an intervention. The assessment took minutes. The effects were immediate - just like the webinar said!

The Calling

We were shocked. And when we shared this success with the institute's founder in Melbourne, he was stunned. A few days later, what started off as "Sven's Crazy Hack" turned into a completely new direction and professional mentorship that changed everything.

Since then, and with a growing community of practice, I have been training directly under the founder of the FNH Institute. I am treating my partner's "mystery" condition with a modality built exactly for this kind of complexity... and it's working.

The Mission

Frankly, our story is not unique. If we were drowning in the chaos of unexplained or chronic symptoms, then others are too. I entered the FNH Mastery Program not just to help my partner and hone my gifts, but to bring the same life-changing restoration we are experiencing to others.

NOUS is the result of that journey, and the vehicle for this work. It is the application of state-of-the-art neuroscience to the weary, the exhausted, and those who have been told "there is nothing more we can do."
